Steven M. Schuetze
Steven Schuetze focuses on liability, property and HMO Cases. Previously a partner in the plaintiff’s law firm of Good, West & Schuetze, Mr. Schuetze has handled numerous serious injury and wrongful death cases. Mr. Schuetze was the plaintiff’s liability trial counsel in the Medical Malpractice case of Reichner v. Maywood where a San Diego jury returned a favorable verdict of $ 2,953,000 (reduced to $2,266,000 by MICRA). This case received Verdict Search’s Verdict of the Week honors. |

Mr. Schuetze also was co-author of the appellate briefs in the published case of Arno v. Helinet where the Court of Appeals affirmed an award of $3,500,000 in prejudgment interest in a helicopter crash case. Mr. Schuetze attended Pepperdine University School of Law, graduating cum laude in the top 5% of his class in 1989. While at Pepperdine, Mr. Schuetze was a member of the Pepperdine Law Review and received American Jurisprudence Awards in Civil Pleading & Procedure and Conflict of Laws. Mr. Schuetze obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Washington. Mr. Schuetze was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1989 and the State Bar of Washington in 1990. Mr. Schuetze is a member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles and has been an invited lecturer at paralegal litigation seminars. Areas of Practice:
