Bidart to be honored at University of La Verne President's Dinner

Claremont attorney Michael J. Bidart and his wife Jeanette, will be honored February 1, 2003 at the University of La Verne President's Dinner. At Shernoff Bidart & Darras LLP, Bidart leads the firm's Property and Casualty Department. When not busy representing clients in insurance bad-faith actions, Bidart can often be found at the Michael and Jeanette Bidart Moot Court Room at the University of La Verne College of Law preparing for a case and giving students a real life look at the inner workings of a trial.

The couple's sizable donation made the Moot Court possible. Jean Bjerke, vice president of University Relations, said the Bidart's have made an impact through their generosity and gift and have given a strong leadership to the Board of Visitors. "He lives by the same values that are embodied in our mission statement of the College of Law - ethics, civility and commitment to service," said Bjerke.
